Email's go out a couple times
a month. If you would like to be on the list,
Lady O is an original comedy of manners play written by FSU School of Theatre grad, David Caudle. We are currently ready to produce this show and are actively fundraising for a 2002 production premiere. What we need is someone with classical theatre training who can take on supervising the fundraising aspects in conjunction with setting up a structure to get this project produced. We are looking to produce it in either LA or NY and we would also consider any regional theatre or University program, The Production Manager will not do any fundraising, but be a liaison with the Fundraising Committee to ensure that the production's money is being allocated properly. This show is the next Broadway blockbuster and you could be the person
to take it to that level. Please let us know if you can nurture this
project through opening night.
We are constantly searching for new materials to produce in our showcases and our productions. If you are an author, please send us a copy of any project you would like considered. If you would like the script back, please include an envelope and the proper postage. Otherwise we will keep it on file for future use. We will contact you if we decide to use your work and you may be as involved with the reading or the production of the work as you wish. If you are a director, you may want to contact us. We have projects that need creative directors to ensure a top quality production. If you have not sent us your resume, please do so. If you want it on line, follow the Registration Guidelines. You will be able to read the original piece before making a decision. Do you like to organize and manage large events? Are you a producer? We need you. We need individuals that can manage a group and see a project to its successful end. We need a person who can manage all the logistics a production requires. If we dont have a resume for you on file, please send us one. And if you want to talk about what type of event needs planning, email the Chairpersons in either LA or NY. We sometimes need a party planned, sometimes it is a reading on one afternoon and we are striving for multiple productions during the year for an extended run. There are many volunteers but without a leader, it is hard for them to contribute as much as they would like. That is where you come in. Would you just like to help focus lights, or get props or do the house
or maybe even design the programs? We need you too. No resume is needed,
but your help is in great demand. If you think any of these positions
are ones you can help The Florida Project with, then please contact
us today. The expansion of our creativity is waiting for you.
