Brant L. Pope (Associate Artistic Director and Director of the
FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training) has numerous credits
working in regional theatre, Off-Broadway, film and television.
As an actor, he has performed in over 80 plays, including seven
Asolo productions. His over 100 directing credits include work
at theatres such as Pennsylvania Centre Stage, ArtPark, Park Square
Theatre and Connecticut Repertory Theatre. For five years Mr.
Pope was the Artistic Director of Michigans Festival Playhouse
where he premiered several new works including three new American
musicals. For the Asolo he staged Misalliance, Broadway Bound,
Hay Fever, Summer and Smoke, Talleys Folly, Beast On The
Moon and The Sisters Rosensweig. Mr. Pope and his costume designer
wife, Barbara Pope, are proud parents of their daughter, Olivia.
