History of The Florida Project: 1984 - Present

FP has had a great history thus far. The many individuals who took time to help it grow followed great leadership. Here is our history through the eyes of its leaders. For maximum comic relief, read their stories in chronological order.

Marc Ashmore, Chairman 1984 - 1990
Marc currently lives in Brooklyn, and in addition to his acting is also a visual
artist, exhibiting his paintings at the Dryden Gallery in New York City

Robb Pruitt, Chairman 1990 - 1991
Robb can be seen and heard on many TV and radio commercials, and currently
runs his own production company, Wolf Fang Productions.

Richard Falklen, Chairman 1991 - 1994 Currently, Richard Falklen resides in Nashville, TN and is an independent broker and consultant to
songwriters wishing to sell the publishing interest of their copyrights.

Chris Dolman, Chairman 1994 - 1996
Chris was formally the artistic director for the Edgartown Theatre Festival (Martha's Vineyard). He currently acts in stage productions, commercials, industrials and directs for the stage.

Guy W. West, Chairman, 1996 - 1998
Guy is in an actor in NYC for theatre and film. He teaches elementary school
drama and also does many voiceovers for the sci fi channel on line.

Hilde Garcia, Chairperson 1998 - Present LA
Hilde Garcia is an actress for theatre, film, television and commercials in LA.
She is also the President of her children’s book publishing company, Caliente.
