Chris Dolman, Chairman 1994 - 1996

We achieved absolutely nothing!!

Seriously, we achieved absolutely nothing!!!

I'll give it one more try. We achieved absolutely ....

OK -- jokes aside.

During my tenure as FP Chairman we (The Florida Project Board) established the "Open Studio" which continues to benefit FP members in many ways. We started by bringing in highly-regarded casting directors, agents, directors and producers so that our members could meet with, audition for and learn from highly successful people in the entertainment field. The "Open Studio" also provided members the opportunity to try perform their audition material, have their plays read or just work out their new material. It has been a great success.

We also created the FP Hotline and decided that we really needed a PO Box that did not move around as much as we did. This began to give us stability.

We began the initiative to find the Florida Project and the FSU School of Theatre a permanent home in New York City. This initiative continues today and in the future will hopefully provide both matriculating FSU students and FSU grads the opportunity to come together and work in New York City.

Chris was formally the artistic director for the Edgartown Theatre Festival (Martha's Vineyard). He currently acts in stage productions, commercials, industrials and directs for the stage.
