The Circle of Friends Award was presented to Hilde Garcia and Linda Kaley on September 15th, 2000 at the FLorida State University Alumni Association Annual Leadership Conference for Seminole Club and Alumni Clubs.

It was presented to The Florida Project in recognition of service and leadership in furthering the objectives and goals of the University and its alumni programs.

It was the first award of its kind and The Florida Project was the first recipient. We were very honored to receive this and the honor was shared by Alumni Coordinator, JoAnna Dolloff, Interim Dean of the School of Theatre, John Deal and Dean Emeritus Gil Lazier- not present at the luncheon.
